Dr. Alexander Facque, MD is a board-certified plastic surgeon in San Francisco, California who joined the Gender Confirmation Center's team in September 2020 as a full-time Associate Surgeon with deep expertise in Facial Gender Confirmation Surgery, Breast Augmentation and Body Sculpting. Dr. Facque was introduced to gender-affirming care in 2012 and now works exclusively with transgender and non-binary patients.

Dr. Facque operates at St. Francis Memorial Hospital where the staff have received transgender sensitivity training ensuring proper pronoun use and personalized support. There is a dedicated transgender liaison nurse team who work directly with patients to provide a "best in class" healthcare experience. Dr. Facque also operates at Vista Surgery Center, a fully accredited surgery center that is smaller compared to a hospital, offering a more intimate setting.

Booking a Consultation
Dr. Facque offers FREE in-person and virtual consultations. The wait time for a consultation is one month and the wait time for a surgery date is approximately 4-5 months after your consultation.
Surgery Requirements
- Good physical and psychological health.
- Hormone therapy is not required.
- Dr. Facque uses informed consent and support letters from a mental health provider are not required. If you're using insurance to pay for your procedure(s), the insurance company will require letters and may also require hormone therapy.
