She has a medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School, and served in the U.S. Air Force Medical Corp during medical school from 1995-1999 and as an active duty Air Force surgeon from 1999-2008.

Dr. Sherie offers trans women the highest level of surgical care at her practice in Charlotte. Procedures available include:

  • MTF Breast Augmentation, Buttock Augmentation, Hip Augmentation
  • Body Sculpting: Liposuction, Fat Grafting, VASER liposuction
  • Orchiectomy

MTF Breast Augmentation

For many trans women, Breast Augmentation surgery helps provide a feeling of completeness and femininity, and the procedure can play a significant role in MTF transition.

Both saline and silicone breast implants are available. Depending on your transition goals and anatomy, Dr. Sherie will make recommendations regarding the type of incision and implant to be used. At your visit to our office in Charlotte for your consultation, you'll be able to try on various implant sizes and shapes to get a preview of your new breasts and to pick the set that you like the best.

Brazilian Butt Lift

The Bazilian Butt Lift can help trans women acquire classic "hourglass" curves. Liposuction is used to remove excess fat from "problem areas" such as the abdomen, "love handles" and mid back. Some of the extracted fat is then transferred to the buttocks to provide additional curves. (Buttock implants are also available.)

Body Sculpting

Body Sculpting with VASER liposuction and Natural Fat Grafting. Modern natural fat transfer extracts excess fat and moves it wherever enhancement is desired. VASER High Definition Liposuction allows for high definition "etching" of the musculature, something that would be impossible with older techniques.

Orchiectomy

Orchiectomy, sometimes referred to as castration, involves the removal of the testes, with or without scrotal skin removal. (The penis is left intact.) The "simple" orchiectomy is the procedure commonly performed as part of sex reassignment surgery (SRS). It is usually done under conscious sedation or general anesthesia. Orchiectomy brings on sudden hormonal changes and can result in increased feminization, such as larger breasts, as well as a loss of muscle strength.

Facial Feminization: Forehead Reduction

Also known as Hairline Correction, Scalp Reduction, and Scalp Advancement, this is a Facial Feminization Surgery procedure that aims to produce a more feminine looking, oval pattern hairline. Forehead reduction shortens the forehead (by a maximum of about 2") and minimizes the appearance of a receding hairline.

ALL INCLUSIVE PRICING: Facility fee, Anesthesia fee, Post-op garments, Pre-op and Post-op appointments, Minor revisions, VASER Liposuction of the chest/underarm/bra-roll area. Costs are general estimates only. Exact pricing can only be determined following a consultation.

Dr. Sherie's private, trans-friendly surgery center in South End Charlotte is where your surgical procedures and follow-up visits take place.

Out of town clients will be interested in Dr. Sherie's optional recovery packages that include all post-operative supplements, dressings and garments. An overnight medical caregiver and lodging can also be arranged.
